Foundation for Second Chances is pleased to announce our very first annual Second Chances Youth Summit, which will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 at the University of Southern California (USC).

Essentially, the purpose of the Second Chances Youth Summit is to, not only, inspire 9th-12th grade Los Angeles youth to develop a sense of community, but to also create a space for such youth to actively plan and have agency in determining their futures. During such a summit we seek to provide attendees with workshop sessions that explore issues that directly affect them, a college/career fair, health/nutrition/fitness education, and discussions that are geared towards civic and service engagement. By giving 9th-12th grade youth a safe space to dialogue and feel supported, it is FFSC's hope that youth have the opportunity to gather all the information they need to prepare themselves for life.

Our organization extends a warm invitation to Los Angeles community members/organizations, for-profit companies, government agencies, and charitable non-profits, to have a hand in making history.

If interested in hosting a workshop, participating in our college/career fair, sponsorship opportunities, or volunteer opportunities, please contact:
